Tracey Hyde

Director/Hall of Fame Committee Chair

Born and raised in Connecticut, Tracey Hyde started bowling at 14 years old in a league that her parents bowled in. She later worked at a 60-lane bowling center, bartending in the lounge while competing in two leagues of her own. After taking a break to finish college and graduate school in the late ’80s and early ’90s, she spent time golfing with her father before rediscovering her love of bowling. While attending Florida State University College of Law in 1991, she joined the varsity bowling team and has been bowling regularly ever since.

Married to Bill Hyde for nearly 30 years, Tracey balances her love for the lanes with her career as a workers’ compensation defense attorney, representing employers and insurance companies. Bowling remains a lifelong passion that brings balance, competition, and camaraderie to her busy professional life.
