Helen Macy

Born in California and raised in Oklahoma, Helen grew up in a bowling family and won the Oklahoma State Championship at just 15 years old. An Air Force veteran, she later bowled on the Base Scratch Team while stationed in England with her husband, a retired Air Force member. Married for 30 years to the man she met in a bowling alley, Helen is the proud mother of three children and grandmother to one grandson. In 2021, they made their dream move to Panama City.

Bowling has been a lifelong passion, woven through every stage of her life. She has served as a league secretary in numerous leagues, coached both girls’ and boys’ high school teams in Oklahoma, and later bowled collegiately for Southwestern Christian University, where she earned Academic All-American honors before graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2020. Since moving to Panama City, she has served as a league officer in nearly every league she has participated in. Now, she is honored to serve on the Panama City USBC Board of Directors, where she continues to promote education and uphold the integrity of the sport she loves.
