Dennis Macy

Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Dennis grew up watching his parents bowl in numerous leagues across the city and bowled youth at Kenmore Lanes. He went on to serve 21 years in the United States Air Force, retiring after a distinguished career while continuing to bowl in intramural leagues throughout his service. In 2021, Dennis and his wife, Helen, moved to Panama City Beach, where he began a civil service career with Naval Support Activity before retiring in December 2024. Married for 30 years to the love of his life, Dennis is the proud father of three adult children.

Bowling has been a lifelong passion woven through Dennis’s life. Since arriving in Panama City Beach, he has joined local leagues and in February 2024 achieved one of bowling’s highest honors by rolling a perfect 300 game. That same year, he joined the local USBC Board of Directors, where he is proud to give back to the sport and community that has always been close to his heart.
